Meet Our Team
Casey Kaighn, LPC, ACS
Casey Kaighn, owner and therapist at Calm Shores Counseling, is a passionate mental health professional committed to helping others find inner strength and well-being. With a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Monmouth University and a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Casey offers holistic care and specializes in Sand Play Therapy for children and adolescents.
Her extensive experience spans special education, higher education, substance use treatment, and crisis intervention. She is a certified Grief-Informed Professional (CGP) as well as certified in Child & Adolescent Trauma (CATP). She is also pursuing certifications in ADHD Clinical Services (ADHD-CCSP), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (C-DBT), and Integrative Mental Health (CIMHP) to further enhance her therapeutic expertise.
Beyond her work at Calm Shores, Casey is dedicated to promoting mental wellness in youth and families, particularly in school-based settings. In her free time, she enjoys crafting, pilates, and spending time with her corgi, Decker. Casey finds joy in life’s simple pleasures—whether it’s hiking, making homemade pizza, or relaxing with her favorite shows. She brings this same warmth and care to each of her clients, guiding them toward healing and personal growth.
Jillian Stefanski, LAC
Jillian Stefanski, LAC, is a telehealth therapist at Calm Shores Counseling, under the supervision of Casey Kaighn. She is a licensed associate therapist who supports clients navigating anxiety, ADHD, relational patterns, and the lingering echoes of childhood experiences. She brings a calm, steady presence to her work, helping people feel understood, supported, and safe enough to explore the parts of themselves they’ve learned to hide or minimize.
Her approach is collaborative and deeply relational. She helps clients slow down, untangle their thoughts, make sense of their emotions, and understand the patterns that keep showing up in their lives. With warmth and clarity, she guides clients toward insight while also helping them build the skills and confidence needed to create meaningful, lasting change.
In her free time, Jillian loves baking bread, experimenting in the kitchen, and hosting friends and family for cozy meals or a spirited game night. When she’s not at home hanging out with her Maine Coons, Derek and Teddy, or tending to her ever-growing plant collection, you’ll probably find her belting her heart out at a concert. Above all, she loves finding little ways to make everyday life feel more creative, nourishing, and joyful.
Jillian currently offers telehealth services only, self-pay ($100), and is in network with Blue Cross Blue Shield.
